Meet the Artist

Diana is an Amazon-born Peruvian multidisciplinary artist whose paintings and embroideries of the lush Amazonian landscape have been collected and exhibited internationally. With over 20 years of experience in oil painting, freestyle embroidery, and ceramics, she also leads an organization promoting Peruvian Amazon culture through art and research.

Inspired by her background moving between the Ucayali region of the Amazon basin and the urban landscapes of Lima, Diana’s paintings weave together themes of migration, identity, and the intricate relationship between female experiences and the natural world. Her detailed paintings reflect the landscapes she explores during her walks. Diana is also actively involved in exploring indigenous Amazonian art through her work and has conducted ethnographic research into the art of the Shipibo Konibo community.

In Lima, she has created a nature sanctuary, bringing the essence of the Amazon to the city. With her Peruvian hairless dogs by her side, she is excited to inspire others to connect with nature and the land through art.
