Meet the Artist
Lacy is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and paper sculptor whose work transforms everyday materials into immersive, emotionally resonant experiences. As a teenager, she apprenticed under her father, a sign painter on Western film sets, which deepened her love for drawing, painting, and craftsmanship. This foundation led her to a diverse practice that spans fine art, costume and set design, prop styling, interior installations, illustration, and podcast—fluidly moving between commercial and personal expression.
Best known for her dynamic paper sculptures and installations, Lacy uses humble materials like paper, cardboard, and found objects to construct dreamlike environments. Her tactile process involves meticulously hand-cutting, folding, pulping, and airbrushing hundreds—sometimes thousands—of elements to build large-scale works that are both intricate and expansive. Foil, glitter, and miniatures occasionally punctuate the pieces, adding layers of fantasy and surprise. Her work is deeply physical, requiring time, repetition, and an embrace of imperfection—an approach she describes as meditative and therapeutic, echoing the whimsical inventiveness of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Her recent work also incorporates Solarpunk and Lunarpunk themes, envisioning regenerative and collaborative futures.
At its heart, Lacy invites people to slow down and reconnect with their tactile senses. Her work invites you to see discarded materials not as waste but as portals to new worlds—where color, play, and care become blueprints for a better future.

Explore Berlin
Berlin is a city that rewards curiosity—a place where history and reinvention coexist on every corner, and creativity spills far beyond museums. While landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall remain iconic, the real Berlin reveals itself in hidden courtyards with artist-run galleries, techno-fueled nights in abandoned warehouses, and parks like Tempelhofer Feld, a former airport turned urban playground. Graffiti-covered facades, popup installations, and squatted buildings reflect a spirit of resistance, experimentation, and play. With its vibrant, layered art scene and many subcultures living side-by-side, Berlin offers a constant sense of discovery. For those who stay, it often feels like living several lives in one city—each shaping your artistic and personal identity. In Berlin, anything can happen—especially when you least expect it.
