I had heard about VAWAA from my daughter (who has had several experiences already) and was eager to try it. I wanted to see if I had any talent for this artform that I really appreciate. I also wanted to see what it would be like to be away from people for several days and immersed in something new to me. I was very happy to discover that I had some nascent talent (at least in my own view) and am excited to move forward. I was looking for something fulfilling I could explore alone
