My husband and I had been wanting to carve out time to make art together for years, but we always seem too busy in our day-to-day lives and it just felt out of reach to us. We wanted to meet an artist, learn a medium in more depth, and get inspired. Additionally, it helped to have the structure (for instance 4-6 hours per day in the studio with Annette encouraging us) that challenged us to get unblocked creatively and make something new each day. We both left feeling happy and proud about what we had accomplished and inspired to continue our creative journeys and make more collage and mixed media art back at home.
