Julia & Joumana

This was our first VAWAA. It was really nice for my daughter and I to get to spend time together and to have a daily activity with someone local to the area. Sure, we could learn to weave back home, but doing it while on vacation and relaxed was very nice and spending time with Andreia was lovely. We had the workshop from 10 am to 2 pm each day, then we spent the afternoon exploring Lisbon on our own. Andreia gave us several recommendations for places to visit based on our preferences. We chose to stay in an apartment near the studio rather than in the tourist area. We liked being nearby. Public transportation in Lisbon is excellent and we didn't have any trouble venturing out in the afternoons and evenings to explore the rest of the city.
